April, 2004
After
nearly 7 years of running this site, I've finally decided to close
this site indefinately. Unfortunately the pace of everyday personal
and professional life have taken up most of my time, and continuing
this site is no longer an option for me. This has been ongoing
for some time now and the decision to close this site was not
an easy one for me.
Over the years
I have made many friends and contacts through this site from all
over the world. I have been able to talk with some members of
the Wu's satellite family and hooked many people up with hard
to find albums just by keeping this site alive.
Many people have
criticised my approach to listing Wu albums (eg. "Why do
you list such and such?", "This guy ain't Wu" etc.)...
But the majority of people have warmly accepted what I have done
and have thanked me for keeping this site as comprehensive as
humanly possible. But at the end of the day I'm not mad at anyone.
I'm just doing my bit the way I see fit.
Although there
will be no more updates, the site will remain online so long as
there are visitors to keep it active.
I want to thank
those who have supported me over the years by sending me info
or news, emailing me new images, given me access to new music
and just by visiting my site. You guys are what kept me in this
for so long... but the time has come when I have to move on.
To all those webmasters
who are still continuing on the tradition, I wish you all the
best of luck.
