Sorry
but I've been really busy with uni and this is unlikely to change
any time soon. Fortunately there's not a lot happening right
now.
RZA's score of
"Ghost Dog" has been ranked at number 32 of the 'Top
50 Greatest Musical Moments in Movie History' by Blender magazine
(a publication of Maxim). Of particular note was his "Samurai
Theme". Here's an excerpt:
"Director
Jim Jarmusch says his tale of a modern-day, rap-loving samurai
was a collaboration between him, actor Forest Whitaker and the
RZA, whose Far East-influenced hip-hop beats fit perfectly,
particularly in the rooftop sequence, where the Wu-Tanger's
urgent, driving instrumental accompanies the nimble Whitaker
as he practices martial arts in a manner part dance,
part religious ritual -- but all deadly."

Doesn't
seem to be a whole lot to report right now, but I have some
bits and pieces of interest.
For Wu collectors,
there's some new 12" vinyls out on the "Digital Recordings"
label which are all produced by RZA - Black Knights' "Next
Up" & Divison's "Warzone b/w PJ's" these
might be white label releases). There's also one from "KB
Records" also produced by RZA - Suga Bang Bang's "Ice
Cream" & Majestic 12's "Buffalo Gal".
1.4.0. will release
his next album around January next year. He's in the middle
of recording it now and says it's his best work to date.
Added the production
credits to Savior's Day.
The album covers will follow when I receive my copy from CDnow.

Amazon.com
have listed "The Wonderful World of Wallabees" already.
There's no cover art or tracklisting just yet, but the price
is $18.98 US - which is quite expensive for a 'Greatest Hits'
album in my opinion.
